.slugignore File

.slugignore File Function Introduction

.slugignore is the same as the well-known .gitignore file, which has the effect of ignoring certain files in the packaging stage. We may have such a requirement when we use Kato to build and package the source code. I don’t want to package the source code into the final software package, but Kato needs to determine which files you don’t want based on your definition. So there is a .slugignore file.

.slugignore File Definition Method

File Location and Naming

The file name must be .slugignore and it must be placed in the main directory of the source code.

Document Content Specification

Consistent with the .gitignore specification, the path of the file that needs to be ignored is defined in the file, one per line, and wildcards are supported.

Example:

src/main/java/com/*
src/test
