Uninstall Kato Cluster

Uninstall Process

If an unrecoverable situation occurs during the installation process, you can refer to the following operations to completely uninstall the cluster and reinstall it

Kato Cluster Uninstall

Visit the IP of the node where the operator is located: 30008, enter the cluster management interface, click uninstall, and wait for the uninstall to complete

Execute the following command to confirm that the resources have been uninstalled

#As long as the operator's pod means that it has been uninstalled
kubectl get pod -n rbd-system
#No resources are created
kubectl get katocluster -n rbd-system
#No resources are created
kubectl get katopackage -n rbd-system
#No resources are created
kubectl get rbdcomponent -n rbd-system
#No resources related to kato have been created
kubectl get persistentvolumeclaims -n rbd-system
#No resources related to kato have been created
kubectl get storageclasses
#No resources related to kato have been created
kubectl get persistentvolumes -n rbd-system

Data Cleaning

Execute on the node where the operator is located

rm -rf /opt/kato

Clean up all data in the cluster

Operator Uninstall

Execute on the client side of k8s cluster

helm uninstall kato-operator --namespace=rbd-system

Uninstallation can be completed, if mysql-operator is installed, pass

helm uninstall mysql-operator --namespace=rbd-system

Command to complete uninstall

Operator Installation Package Cleanup

Enter the operator download directory and execute

rm -rf kato-operator-chart-v0.0.1-beta2-V5.2-dev.tgz && rm -rf ./chart

You can complete the cleanup. If mysql-operator is installed, pass

rm -rf mysql-operator-chart.tgz && rm -rf ./mysql-operator

The uninstall process can be completed through the above operations. If external resources are used, please delete or clean up by yourself.
